COVER REVEAL – A Bond of Blood and Fire

I reviewed the first book in this series by Karen Tomlinson back in October 2016, and it quickly became one of my favorite indie series! Since then, A Bond of Venom and Magic has received a gorgeously updated cover (below) and we are excited to be part of the cover reveal for book 2, A Bond of Blood and Fire.

Romance and action abound in book two of this dazzling Young Adult fantasy series by British author Karen Tomlinson.
A love bathed in fire. A destiny sealed with blood.
In a world ravaged by war, half-blood fae Diamond Gillon must fight to survive.
Becoming a magical weapon for the fae queen and defending the capital city of Valentia from the Wraith Lord is the only way to save her beloved friends from execution. But mastering the destructive force of her magic proves a terrifying if not impossible task, and Diamond struggles to trust Commander Hugo Casimir, the queen’s guard ordered to train her. Once her friend, he is now nothing more than her enemy. To complicate matters, the two share a rare, magical connection, a bond that will ultimately shape their fates and their hearts.
Love and loyalty will be tested as Diamond battles giants, an ancient dragon, and an army of monstrous creatures in her quest to save Valentia. But will she defeat the Wraith Lord and triumph to save those she loves? Or will the Eight Kingdoms descend into chaos?
Fans of Leigh Bardugo and Sarah J Maas will devour this thrilling second installment in The Goddess and the Guardians series. A Bond of Blood and Fire is packed with action and adventure. Read now and be transported into a world where winged warriors and shifters compete for centre stage.

And behold, THE COVER! GUYS IT’S SO INTENSELY GORGEOUS (watch out for that dragon in the background).

Welcome citizens of the Realm!

Hello, Meg here!

I wanted to get started with an introduction, and I would love if you would introduce yourselves too in the comments!

For as long as I can remember, I have loved to read. I was that kid who loved mandatory reading time in school, and my parents even had to ground me from reading – since I hardly watched television, they really were low on options. In 3rd grade, my teacher introduced me to the world of Harry Potter, and that was the catalyst that began my love for reading fantasy novels!

In my middle school years I struggled through The Hobbit, and The Lord of the Rings trilogy – love ’em, but they are absolutely, positively not easy reading.

It was in middle school that I also discovered one of my favorite authors of all time, Tamora Pierce where I went on epic adventures with Alanna of Trebond.

These days, when I’m not rereading my favorites, I am (im)patiently waiting for the latest Sarah J Maas book (A Court of Mist and Fury has climbed to one of my top fantasy books of all time), or wishing that I was in the world of Truthwitch by Susan Dennard.

I’m currently craving steampunk novels, so if you have any good suggestions in that genre, please leave your recs below!

I’m also an aspiring author, and am currently (slowly) working on a project that I’ve been posting to Wattpad. If you’re interested (it includes moody mages and snarky heroine), here is the link for your reading pleasure!

Anyway, thanks for stopping by! Feel free to tell me a little bit about yourself in the comments below!!
